Founded in 2006 by John Watkins and Nancy Rohman, Extensiv started as 3PL Central after the founders saw the need for better warehouse management software to handle their own logistics operations. The company has since grown into a complete fulfillment technology platform that helps third-party logistics (3PL) providers, e-commerce businesses, and brands manage their warehouse operations more efficiently. Its main use case is to simplify inventory management, order processing, shipping, billing, and warehouse operations through one connected system. It also offers tools for warehouse scanning, labor analytics, reporting, automated invoicing, and integrations with e-commerce platforms and shipping carriers. Users appreciate its ability to automate daily tasks, improve inventory accuracy, manage multiple clients, and provide real-time visibility into warehouse operations. Its AI-powered features also help businesses get useful answers from live warehouse data, making daily decisions easier and faster.
